The breakfasts were top-notch, especially the full English that Deborah whipped up, every bite was heaven. Plus, David was super helpful, driving us to the train station when it was too busy to get a cab.

Sure, it was a bit pricey but worth every penny for the experience.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at New Hall Bank in Bowness. The stunning lake views and the warmth of our hosts, Dave and Deborah. While the bed could have been more comfortable, the quality of breakfast made our mornings delightful. I gladly recommend this charming B&B.

Just had an awesome 3-night stay. Our room was super spacious, and I loved the cute mini toiletries! Breakfast was delish and they were super accommodating with our requests. Location is perfect for exploring Bowness.

Charming Stay with Lake Views

We spent two nights in a Deluxe King Room with stunning views. Breakfasts were a highlight. especially the hearty full English! The walk to local shops and the peaceful ambiance made our stay truly enjoyable. A lovely places to unwind after exploring Windermere.

Had a great time with friends! We visited the stunning Hill Top and the quaint town of Ambleside, both about a 25-minute walk uphill. The location was ideal for hitting bars and shops nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, and the hosts were super friendly.

We had a minor issue with the small sink in the ensuite bathroom, but it didn't impact our stay much. It was just a bit cramped.

During my stay, I loved that the hotel was only a few steps from the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction and a less than a 5-minute walk to beautiful Bowness Bay, making it super easy to explore everything the area has to offer while enjoying stunning views over the lake from my room.

Clean room, comfortable stay, with a lovely cooked breakfast that fueled our days of walking around. The free parking was a great bonus, making it easy for us to explore nearby attractions.

The breakfast each morning was fantastic, like David and Deborah knew exactly what I wanted. Waking up to that view of the lake from our room was priceless.

It wasn’t cheap, but it was still reasonable for what we got.

Gorgeous views from the top floor room, and my, was it tidy! Parking was a breeze, and David & Deb were simply delightful, always ready with splendid recommendations. Breakfast? Oh, I could’ve eaten it for every meal!

The bathroom door was like a little puzzle, just begging for some finishing touches. I definitely had more fun with it than I should’ve!
